First Holy Communion

Preparation for First Communion is available for children in grade 2 and above who have completed the First Reconciliation program.

A child or youth must be currently enrolled in a parish Religious Education program or a Catholic School and have completed one year of Religious Education the previous year as well as received the Catechesis for First Reconciliation.  The parent orientation meeting is held in January and a parent/child session follows with the sacramental celebrations scheduled after Easter.

Parent Orientation Meeting :    Monday, January 30th: 6:30 – 8pm in Immaculate Conception Church.

Parent/Child Meeting:     Sunday, February 26th  – 4:00 – 5:30pm – IC Church

Tour of Church:    Sunday, March 5th (1:30pm) –  Wednesday, March 8th (6:30pm) –  Tuesday, March 14th (1:00pm) – IC Church

Practice with Unconsecrated Bread:  Sun., March 12th  (8:45am) – Wed., March 15th (6:30pm) –  Tuesday, April 4th (1:00pm)
