2011-2012 Fees:
CYM JV/Varsity
• $90 per child
• $160 for 2 children in a family
• $230 for 3 or more children

Intramural Teams (Grade 1-3):
• $70 per child
• $120 for 2 children in a family
• $170 for 3 or more children

* Effective Fall 2010, a $50 uniform deposit will be required at the time of registration. Uniform deposits may be made in the form of a check made payable to ICAA. The check will only be cashed if the uniform is not returned.

• All fees are per sport.
• A $10 shirt fee may be charged based on the sport.

Athletic Association

Immaculation Conception Athletic Association offers various athletic programs for the youth of the parish community. The programs are open to ICS students, parish members and children living in the parish's geographic boundaries.

The ICAA programs are a combination of CYM (Grades 4 - 8) sponsored athletics as well as parish based intramural sports which are designed for our younger participants (Grades K-3).

All athletes in CYM sports (Grades 4 - 8 ) must register here . All athletes in the intramural program (Grades K-3) will register by filling out this form . Don't forget to sign up for our schoolnotes updates!

The ICAA offers sports programs for the children of Immaculate Conception School, the Immaculate Conception Parish as well as children who live in the geographic territory of the Parish. Please contact the Wilmington Diocese Office for questions about eligibility.

Sports Registration Process:

Specific registration dates have been scheduled and registration forms and fee will be due during one of the registration dates for that specific sports.  Registration dates will be communicated on the websites, church bulletin, and through a flyer sent home through school.

Effective with winter sports registration dates, there will be a $10 late fee for anyone who registers after the open registration dates.

The Parish Center and School will no longer accept registration forms or fees.  If you have any questions, please contact the Athletic President, Melinda DeLia at melindadelia@iccparish.org

Open registration dates have been scheduled for all fall sports.  Please register your child during one of the registration dates in the gym hallway:

August 25th from 6pm-8pm

Fall Registration will end on September 2nd or until the teams are full whichever comes first!

2011-2012 Sports fees
CYM Sports JV and Varisty (Grades 4-8):

Starting with the 2011 Winter Sports programs, Non-Parishoner rate will be $100 1 Athlete; $170 2 Athletes; and $240 for 3+ Athletes.

Parishoner Rate:

1 Athlete $90
2 Athletes $160
3+ Athletes $230

Intramural (Grades K-3):
1 Athlete $70
2 Atletes $120
3 Atletes $170

A uniform deposit is required for each sport that your child participates in (except volleyball).  In order to assure all uniforms are returned a $50 uniform deposit (check only) will be required at registration.

All athletes in Grades 4-8 must register online at http://www.cdow.org/cymathletics.html . Once you register, please print out a copy of the FINAL form and bring the form and fee to your coach.

All registations and fees must be paid prior to practicing.

*Returning players can use their login and password from last year to register for the 2011-2012 season. You must re-register each year! Go to www.cdow.org . Once you are in you will see a list on the left.  Place cursor over YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS.  A drop down menu will appear. Move cursor over to ATHLETICS.  Go to bottom of page and you will see a information regarding sign up.

New Players MUST follow the instructions below*

If you have never registered for any CYM sport before, you will need to request a username and password. Follow the instructions above and click on the Register Here link.  Fill out the information requested. Your account type will be student for a player. Click on submit when you are finished. Your username and password will be e-mailed to you at the address you put in. Keep this somewhere safe for future use. Whenever you login into the site you will need this information. Once you have this you still must register. Go back into the CDOW site and select online registration.

A signed copy of the registration form must be turned into the coaches before practice starts.

Volleyball

Tryouts have concluded for JV and Varsity.  Senior tryouts are scheduled on August 23rd from 7:30pm-9pm at the Elkton YMCA.

Practice will begin August 16th.  Practice for JV and Varsity will be held at the YMCA in Elkton until September 8th every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm-7:30pm.

Varsity Practice beginning on September 13th:

Tuesdays at ICS Gym from 6pm-7:30pm and Thursdays at Kenmore Elementary School  from 6pm-7:30pm

JV Practice after September 8th to be determined.

Items needed:  knee pads, shorts, t-shirts/jersey, sneakers/socks, water/gatorade, and signed registration form.

Soccer:

Soccer practice will begin tenatatively on August 24th every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6pm-7:30pm at ICAA soccer field.

Intramural Soccer:

Registrations are still being taken.  Practice will be held every Wednesday from 2:30pm-4pm at the ICAA soccer field.  Practice will begin on September 7th.

The price for Middle School Dances increased to $8 and Fun Nights have increased to $6.  This will help offset expenses for the dances and fun nights as well as allow us to purchase some new activities for these events.

2011-2012 Middle School Dance schedule is:

September 16th
October 21st
November 18th
December 16th
January 20th
February 10th
April 20th
May 18th

The ICAA will also sponsor three K-5th grade Fun Nights throughout the school year. Those dates are:

October 14th
January 13th
May 11th

It is mandatory that each family chaperone at least one Fun Night (K-5) and 2 dances (Middle School).

We need parent volunteers to help with all of these functions, including setting up, activities, collecting money at the door, selling snacks, chaperoning, cleaning up the cafeteria and gym after the events conclude.

Middle School Dances are held monthly on Fridays and are for students in grades 6, 7, 8 from 7pm-10pm in the ICS Gym!  There are no dances held during Lent.

K-5 Fun Nights are held three times during the school year on a Friday.  Times of these events depend on the grade your child is in:

K through 2nd -from 6pm-7:30pm
3rd through 5th - from 7:30pm-9:30pm
